STEP for ENTRY とは

About STEP for ENTRY

「STEP for ENTRY」は、仙台市が推進するスタートアップの海外展開支援プログラムです。シンガポール・インドネシア（ジャカルタ）を起点に、現地の投資家・研究機関・事業会社・政府機関とのネットワークを通じて、東南アジア市場での販路開拓・協業・資金調達の機会を創出します。渡航前研修から現地プログラム、フォローアップまで一貫して伴走します。

"STEP for ENTRY" is Sendai City's program supporting the overseas expansion of local startups. Starting from Singapore and Indonesia (Jakarta), it creates opportunities for market entry, collaboration and fundraising across Southeast Asia — from pre-trip training to on-site programs and follow-up.

Program positioning

「STEP for ENTRY」は、仙台市の仙台グローバルスタートアップ・ハブが展開するプログラムの一つです。海外展開のフェーズに応じて、2つのプログラムを用意しています。

"STEP for ENTRY" is one of the programs run under Sendai City's Global Startup Hub, offering two programs by expansion stage.

仙台・東北のスタートアップを対象に、2026年プログラムの参加企業を募集します。

We are recruiting startups from Sendai & Tohoku to join the 2026 program.

仙台・東北地域に所在し、今後東南アジア市場への進出を目指すスタートアップ等（法人登記の有無は問いません）Startups based in Sendai & Tohoku aiming to expand into Southeast Asia (incorporation not required)

※1者（1チーム）あたり最大20万円の渡航費等補助を実施します。
※東京⇔シンガポール・インドネシア間の航空券費用及び現地宿泊滞在費用を対象とします。
※採択者数に応じて、渡航費等補助金額が変更になる可能性があります。Free
* A travel subsidy of up to ¥200,000 per team is provided.
* Covers airfare between Tokyo and Singapore/Indonesia and local accommodation costs.
* The subsidy amount may change depending on the number of selected teams.
審査結果Results
申込み後に書類審査を行い、8月上旬までに審査結果を通知いたします。
※基本的には提出書類をもとに審査を行いますが、内容によっては追加の情報確認やオンライン面談をお願いする場合があります。Applications are screened on a document basis, and results will be notified by early August.
* Screening is based on the submitted documents, but additional information or an online interview may be requested depending on the content.

応募要件Requirements
対象者Who can apply

今後東南アジア市場への進出を目指すスタートアップ等。法人登記の有無は問いません。一定の事業仮説を持ち、事業化に向けた検証・展開を具体的に進める意志があること。Startups aiming to expand into Southeast Asia. Incorporation is not required. A clear business hypothesis and concrete intent to validate and grow it.

東南アジア市場との親和性が高い分野の製品・サービス・技術等。Products, services or technologies with strong fit for Southeast Asian markets.

海外展開への意志Commitment

シンガポールを起点とした東南アジア展開への明確な意志があること。現地での実証・商談・提携を見据えて取り組む姿勢を重視します。応募時点の英語力は問いません。A clear intent to expand into Southeast Asia via Singapore, with readiness for on-site validation, negotiations and partnerships. English skills at the time of application are not required.

備考・注意事項Notes
参加にあたっての留意点（必須ミーティング等）Participation requirements (mandatory meetings)
  • 採択者を対象にしたキックオフミーティングを2026年8月21日（金）に仙台市内にて実施予定です。A kickoff meeting for selected teams is planned in Sendai on Friday, August 21, 2026.
  • シンガポール・インドネシア研修に先立ち、事前に複数回のオンラインミーティングへの参加が必要です。また、渡航後にはフォローアップミーティングや最終発表会（2027年2〜3月を予定）への参加も必要になります。Prior to the Singapore/Indonesia program, participation in several online meetings is required. After the trip, participation in follow-up meetings and the final showcase (planned for Feb–Mar 2027) is also required.
渡航手配・海外旅行保険についてTravel arrangements & insurance
  • 航空券・宿泊先は参加者ご自身で手配いただきます。Participants arrange their own flights and accommodation.
  • 渡航にあたっては、海外旅行保険への加入を必ずお願いします。Overseas travel insurance is mandatory.
免責事項Disclaimer
  • 参加者の皆さまには、航空券と宿泊先を各自で手配いただきます。その際、万一に備えて海外旅行保険への加入を必ずお願いいたします。Participants arrange their own flights and accommodation, and must take out overseas travel insurance.
  • 現地滞在中の病気・事故・盗難・トラブル、または現地の状況によるプログラムの変更や中止、あるいは渡航に関連して発生した損失等について、主催者（仙台市および運営事務局）は責任を負いかねますので、あらかじめご了承ください。The organizers (Sendai City and the secretariat) are not liable for illness, accidents, theft or other troubles during the stay, program changes or cancellation due to local conditions, or losses related to travel.

STEP for SEED シンガポール渡航プログラム（2025年11月10日–14日）

STEP for SEED Singapore Program (Nov 10–14, 2025)

現地の政府系支援機関やベンチャーキャピタル、海外進出企業などによる全体セッションに加え、各社が計27社の研究機関・企業・投資家と個別面談を実施。共同研究の開始、PoCの検討、NDA・MoUの準備など、具体的な次ステップが多数生まれました。

Alongside group sessions with local government-backed support agencies, venture capital firms and companies already expanding overseas, each company held 1-on-1 meetings with a combined 27 research institutes, corporates and investors — generating concrete next steps including joint research, PoCs, and NDA / MoU preparation.

費用はかかりますか？Are there any costs?
参加費用は無料です。1者（1チーム）あたり最大20万円の渡航費等補助を実施します（東京⇔シンガポール・インドネシア間の航空券費用および現地宿泊滞在費用が対象）。採択者数に応じて、補助金額が変更になる可能性があります。Participation is free. A travel subsidy of up to ¥200,000 per team is provided (covering airfare between Tokyo and Singapore/Indonesia and local accommodation). The amount may change depending on the number of selected teams.
英語が得意でなくても参加できますか？Can I join even if I'm not confident in English?
応募時点での英語力は問いません。渡航前に英語ピッチ研修などのサポートを行います。English skills at the time of application are not required. Pre-trip support including English pitch training is provided.
訪問先は自分で設定する必要がありますか？Do we need to arrange our own meetings?
現地での訪問先・面談先は、各社の目的に応じて運営事務局がアレンジ・マッチングします。ご自身でアポイントを取っていただくことも可能ですが、事務局がサポートしますので、現地のコネクションが全くないという形でも問題ありません。ご希望があれば事前にご相談いただけます。The secretariat arranges and matches meetings on-site based on each company's goals. You may also set up your own appointments, but with the secretariat's support, having no local connections at all is not a problem. You can share your preferences in advance.
